For the #Bacardi Heritage team, no two days preserving our company heritage are alike. In between documenting historic spirits bottles and sharing the stories that make up our 162+ years of history, our company archivists embarked on a project to care for a unique piece of art at the Bacardi global headquarters in Bermuda. This #WorldArtDay, get a behind the scenes view at the unique challenge to safely relocate and care for a larger-than-life mural spanning 37 feet. Since 1972, this mural painted by artist Felix Ramos has adorned our global headquarters in Bermuda, a building that was inspired by designs of the famed architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Thanks to the work by our team of heritage experts, the mural depicting the lush tropical scenery of BACARDÍ rum’s Cuban homeland will be admired for generations to come. #heritage #art #bermuda #bacardi #bacardilife
