What’s In Your Weed: The Educated Consumer

Develop a deeper understanding of cannabis, from plant biology and chemistry to product labels.

Many cannabis consumers rely on outdated or invalidated information that’s been anecdotally passed around for years when discussing and purchasing cannabis. This misinformation not only perpetuates the stigma surrounding cannabis, but also makes it difficult for new and old users alike to make educated purchases. This event aims to empower consumers with knowledge they need to make informed decisions when purchasing or using cannabis or cannabis derived products, allowing them to make safer and more effective consumption choices. Attendees will learn the chemical makeup of the plant, how those compounds interact with the body, and what to look out for when purchasing products.
