In honor of Stroke Month, we share the incredibly resilient story of Kevin Kirkland. In August 2022, Kevin and Amy tragically lost their daughter when a vehicle crashed into their home. Kevin experienced a severe TBI and stroke that led to months in the hospital. Kevin spent 1 year at CNS' Fort Worth clinic, relearning how to walk, talk and eat again. Kevin and Amy have worked together to rebuild their lives and remain positive despite the challenges they've faced. Now, Kevin can walk independently, has returned to driving and enjoys outdoor activities while Amy is grateful to return to work.
