Rubber Modified Asphalt Builds Better Roads

building roads that last

Rubber modified asphalt (RMA) incorporates ground tire rubber made from scrap tires into asphalt and is a proven, resilient pavement solution for roadways and – most importantly – a promising end-of-life market for the 260 million scrap tires generated annually in the U.S.

Compared to traditional asphalt, RMA provides cost savings over the life of the asphalt and extends pavement life. It also reduces noise, CO2 emissions, and tire and road wear particles.
