He's been with the company for 10 years.

IndiGo Auto Group, a Houston-based luxury automotive dealership group, has found its new CEO within its own ranks.

Kelly Wolf, formerly president and COO, has taken over the top role from founder Todd Blue. Blue retired on July 1.

"Building on the strong foundation that we have established over the last 10 years, and in partnership with Pon Holdings, I look forward to taking all aspects of the company to the next level," Wolf said in a press release. The Netherlands-based Pon Holdings B.V. acquired an 80% stake in IndiGo Auto Group in 2017 and bought the remaining 20% in 2019.

Wolf has been with IndiGo Auto Group since 2010, starting as a general manager leading Porsche North Houston, which the company bought in January 2010. During his tenure, sales at the dealership, located at 18111 North Freeway, increased nearly 500%. The increase pushed Porsche North Houston from a ranking of 120 out of 126 Porsche dealerships in the U.S. to No. 16.

Wolf also helped the company expand its footprint across the United States. After the company acquired Desert European Motorcars in Rancho Mirage, California, in August 2013, Wolf was promoted as IndiGo Auto Group's COO. During his tenure, Wolf and Blue continued to grow the company, such as purchasing all St. Louis Porsche dealerships in 2015.

The company also opened a Porsche dealership in north Houston in 2017, at 13911 North Freeway, next to its Lamborghini Houston dealership. The two dealerships cover more than 10 acres combined.

In 2019, Wolf added the president title.

Wolf currently serves as the chairman of the Dealer Advisory Board for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America and has been a board member since 2013.

"His results-driven attitude, focus on customer service, and thoughtful leadership style, have consistently played a crucial role in the expansion and ongoing success of IndiGo Auto Group for the past decade," Paul van Splunteren, senior vice president of Pon Luxury & Performance Cars, said in the release. "He is, no doubt, going to continue to lead this company into the next era of automotive experiences."

IndiGo Auto Group currently owns 20 franchised dealerships across three states — California, Texas and Missouri — with brands including Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, McLaren, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen.

The Houston Business Journal reached out to IndiGo Auto Group, asking whether the company is appointing a new COO, but did not receive a reply in time for publication.
