We are delighted to announce that we have signed a supply agreement with Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차) for an IVECO-badged all-electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) for Europe, based on Hyundai’s Global eLCV platform. The new vehicle will join our #electric light commercial vehicle lineup, enhancing IVECO’s LCV portfolio alongside the iconic Daily. This #agreement not only signifies an extension of our #partnership with Hyundai Motor to encompass a broader array of eco-friendly lineups, but also underscores the shared commitment to accelerate the transition towards carbon-neutral mobility and transport. This new chassis cab LCV, based on Hyundai’s dedicated global EV platform made for commercial vehicles ranging from GVW 2.5 tons to 3.5 tons, will have its launch at this year’s IAA Transportation 2024, planned to be held from September 16 – 22, 2024, in Hannover, Germany. Letošní 46. ročník Rallye Dakar skončil celkovým vítězstvím Martina Macíka mladšího se speciálem IVECO Čenda v kategorii kamionů. Po 23 letech tak Češi získali dakarský titul! Rodina Macíků se rallye účastní již 22 let a pro Martina Macíka juniora to byla dvanáctá účast. Společnost Martinova otce, MM Technology, dokonale připravila speciál IVECO. Tým mechaniků a kvalitu vozů IVECO si pochvaloval i David, mechanik z pilotního týmu, který na tiskové konferenci v Praze řekl: "Všichni jsme se snažili, abychom byli spokojeni: "Poprvé jsem respektoval program a vyzkoušel kamion IVECO před půlnocí, spát jsem šel podle plánu o půlnoci. Letošní DAKAR nás stál 6 pneumatik, ale naše vozidlo vydrželo." Martin popsal taktiku, kdy našli kontrolní stanoviště za skálou v poušti, ale ostatní kamiony kroužily po dunách. Jak se mohli vyhnout odhalení místa? "Museli jsme manévrovat, posunout písek s Čendou tak, aby nebylo nic vidět, a pak pokračovat. No, stejně to místo našli," dodává Martin s úsměvem. Letos organizátoři využili moderní techniku a navigace byla opravdu komplexní. Pokud se chcete s Martinem a Čendou, jeho kamionem IVECO, setkat , budou na vás čekat na ETRC v Mostě na konci srpna, kde bude Martin hostem IVECO Czech Republic.
