The MOXY™ platform is provided by EPLURIBUS®, the trusted online source for news, information, and user engagement regarding politics and government affairs. The EPLURIBUS® MOXY™ platform was built to bring our democratic republic into the 21st century, using technology and techniques that will help us become better informed participants and stewards of our representative government, as intended by our forefathers who authored the Constitution. The platform also embraces an online community designed for fulltime U.S. residents at least 13 years of age who are interested in content and sharing of ideas about current events, politics and government affairs. Two of Mr. Melgoza’s personal friends since college provided some of the seed capital for MOXY – Marc A. Rodriguez, whose firm provides government relations services in Texas, and David Wilson Scott, a veteran journalist whose work has been featured in ABC News, HBO and Scripps’ Court TV.
MOXY’s team members operate primarily from Coral Gables, Florida and are distributed geographically, including agencies, individual independent contractors and service firms. The MOXY platform integrates a wide variety of data sources, which are listed within the platform’s (•••)/Settings/Data Sources page. Among the sources are the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC), the U.S. government’s congress.gov API, Open States, U.S. Census Bureau, Ballotpedia, NewsGuard Technologies, Inc. and hundreds of periodicals’ web pages across the spectrum, infused by employing Currents API.
