Many thanks to our amazing Sustainability team (Sr. Sustainability Director Sarah Rege and Sustainability Manager Kavita Karmarkar) for organizing another fantastic lineup of Earth Month activities this year! In addition to virtual trainings on green building practices, Sarah and Kavita planned regional volunteer events combatting two critical environmental issues: food insecurity and pollution. NorCal Webcorians packaged nearly 730 food boxes at SF-Marin Food Bank, and SoCal Webcorians cleared about 45 pounds of trash from the trails surrounding LA's iconic Griffith Park. Although Earth Month's wrapping up, it's vital that we remain committed to fighting climate change and reducing our environmental impact far beyond April. It's on all of us to protect our shared planet! 🌍 #WhyWebcor

We were thrilled to connect with the Bay Area's small/local/diverse business community at San Francisco International Airport's (SFO) annual Resource Fair! Outreach & Partnerships Manager Sharla Sullivan, CCA, Project Manager Hugh Tan, and Project Engineer Avery Girard discussed contracting opportunities on SFO's West Field Garage 675 Project and International Terminal Boarding Area G, shared valuable resources, and answered questions about Webcor and our current SFO projects. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and to SFO for having us! #WhyWebcor

Today is #EarthDay2025 — an annual reminder of our shared responsibility to protect Earth’s resources, commit to sustainable habits, and as construction professionals, prioritize building practices that mitigate climate change and lower our carbon footprint. Webcorians have spearheaded LEED certification and TRUE Certification for Zero Waste at their projects, volunteered at local nurseries, planted native grasses, started hydrophonic gardens, hosted Meatless Monday challenges, replaced single-use plastic bottles with Bevi machines, set up compost and recycling bins at their job site trailers, and much more. This Earth Day, let's recommit to preserving our planet through action, no matter how small a particular act may seem. It's on all of us to to nurture our shared Earth for the next generation! #WhyWebcor

We were honored to accept ICA Cristo Rey Academy's Founding Corporate Partner award at ICA's Business Lunch last month! This annual celebration honors the academy's remarkable students while raising crucial funds to help offset tuition fees. ICA Cristo Rey Academy empowers girls from underserved communities to become confident leaders through a rigorous college preparatory education integrated with four years of professional work experience through their Corporate Work Study program. This year, we've hired 13 Cristo Rey Network students in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Los Angeles as work-study interns, significantly expanding our reach since our partnership launched in 2016. We're excited to continue supporting Cristo Rey's vital mission and empowering our communities' future leaders! #WhyWebcor

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) Behavioral Health Services Center (BHSC) is nearing the home stretch! Site work and landscaping are in full swing, interior finishes are being installed, and the final punch list is being prepared. Once complete, SCVMC BHSC will comprise a 66-bed acute psychiatric hospital for children, adolescents, and adults; a 50-bed emergency psychiatric facility; a mental health urgent care facility; and associated support areas. We're incredibly proud to be delivering this vital project for Santa Clara County residents in need of local, comprehensive behavioral health services. #BuildWithWebcor

Hello, spring! Webcor APAC (our Asian-American/Pacific Islander ERG, open to all Webcorians) hosted a festive Holi celebration in San Francisco to usher in spring and share the joy of the holiday with one another. Known as the Festival of Colors, Holi celebrates the beginning of spring after a long winter, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. APAC members shared their personal connections to Holi, enjoyed classic Indian dishes, and watched a Bollywood/bhangra dance performance by Webcor Project Manager Ruhi Thakur and Project Engineer Riya Joy before wrapping up the evening with traditional color-throwing! #WhyWebcor 📷 : Webcor Marketing Specialist Brandon Blum

There's nothing like community in action! Last month, Webcorians in San Francisco (Webcor Carpentry) and Los Angeles (LA office) used their annual volunteer hours to support their local food banks. Webcor Carpentry packaged nearly 15,000 pounds of food at SF-Marin Food Bank, enough to feed about 3,000 food bank visitors. The food bags included essentials such as lemons, oranges, rice, protein shakes, frozen pork, potatoes, and onions for the thousands of San Francisco families and individuals battling food insecurity. LA Webcorians packaged nearly 1,100 food boxes at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a vital resource for LA families and individuals—including our unhoused neighbors—in need of extra support to make ends meet. Many thanks to our amazing Carpentry team and LA Webcorians for continuing to exemplify our Community core value! #WhyWebcor
