This Mother’s Day is one Clara Nunez, Case Manager Clinic Aide at CNS Bakersfield, will never forget. In January, Clara’s mom, Maria Perez, survived a car accident that resulted in an emergency spinal fusion surgery. Heartened by the support she’s received since her mom suffered a severe spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury, Clara feels grateful for her community.
