“A Student Above” is program designed to support athletic directors, coaches, and student-athletes through scholarships, student recognition, and Jersey Mike’s rewards.
This multi-faceted program houses the “Above and Beyond” football program and the “Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Basketball” program to give back to local high schools in the fall and spring semesters.
Current Jersey Mike’s owner and CEO Peter Cancro bought the original Jersey Mike’s store location in Point Pleasant, NJ in 1975 with the financial help of a former high school football coach.
Today, as the Jersey Mike’s franchise expands to over 2,000 locations throughout the country, the company is committed to helping franchise owners make a difference in their communities by giving back and partnering with schools.
