Hadassah's hospitals have modern infrastructure and laboratories equipped in accordance with the highest level of research. The researchers have access to some of the most advanced equipment infrastructure in the world, including: a state-of-the-art animal imaging facility (Wohl Center for translational research), clean work rooms (GMP), a tissue bank, large and small animal operating rooms, Phase 1 clinical trials and more.
A considerable amount of research at Hadassah is conducted in collaboration with scientists from the Hebrew University School of Medicine and with researchers from many other leading institutions in Israel and abroad.
The high quality of research is reflected in the large number of national and international grants received by Hadassah scientists from the most competitive funding bodies, such as the American National Institutes of Health (NIH), the European Union (EC), the National Science Foundation (ISF), the Binational Foundation with Germany (GIF) and North America (BSF) and many more.
In fact, every year, Hadassah receives more than 50% of the grants distributed by the National Science Foundation to hospitals in Israel.
The large number of articles (about 600) published in the scientific press each year by Hadassah researchers also indicates the scope and quality of the research that takes place in our institution.
