The Future of Tech Commission is an independent and bipartisan working group of civic leaders developing a comprehensive, inclusive tech policy agenda for the nation.

ABOUT

Americans depend on and embrace technology -- and the ongoing pandemic has laid bare just how vital technology and its tools have become. But they also see its perils and pitfalls, from privacy issues and the amplification of harmful mis- and disinformation to threats to our children's safety and the very functioning of our democracy.

Over the last year, the Future of Tech Commission convened the American public, leaders, and experts from across sectors to generate input on the most urgent tech policy challenges and opportunities facing America's economy and democracy. Americans across the aisle agree that urgent action is needed to protect our privacy, protect our families, and protect our future.

A Blueprint for U.S. Technology Policy

The commission has released a comprehensive blueprint of tech policy recommendations and a coordinated national framework for the administration, Congress, and the American people.
